The Catamaran:

This 42ft "Custom Flybridge Motorsailer-Catamaran" is a very well sailing & proven Catamaran especially build for the Tropics or warm weather, but also very safe and comfortable in the Open Ocean.
This Cat is fun to sail with this special Sloop-rigged "Wing-Sail" and everything is simple & easy with not too many Electric & Electronic and a large Cockpit with a huge "Living Area", Kitchen-Block and a great &, functional Cockpit-Table.

The Hulls are strongly built in Fibreglass and each hull has a large, private "Double-Cabin" with a real Double-Bed (150 x 200 cm), Cabinet & Storage, Toilet & Shower.
There are also another –two- (twin & double) smaller cabins with good storage in the Bow of the Hulls.

The Boat is unsinkable due to large buoyancy-compartments in each hull and could be even sailed if the hulls are damaged & floated.
There is a "Water-Catchment-System", Solar-Panels and two very quite, economical & powerful "50 Horsepower Yamaha 4-strokes" Engines which are new on the Market in Indonesia and we are proud to be the first to have this great engines on a Sailing-Catamaran.

Example of a Cruise-Plan for a 7 Day - 6 Night Charter

Day 1:

We depart Serangan harbour at around 10 in the morning with views on traditional fishing boats and Phinisi Schooner's.
After sailing North along the East Coast of Bali, we move on to our Destination: the beautiful Lembongan Island Bay which is approx. 18 Nautical miles away. After our arrival we will take you with our rubber dinghy to the reef for snorkeling and swimming.
Later we prepare our Deck-Barbecue for a delicious Dinner on Board of "SUNDOWNER", accompanied by a stunning sunset with the spectacular volcanic peak in the background.

Day 2:

After a tasty breakfast and a quick morning-swim we set the sails for the cruise to South-Lombok which is approximately 48 Nautical Miles away.
Our course will take us past the beautiful Island of Nusa Penida and it’s traditional and curious fishing villages.
Dolphins and Mantas are often seen and sometimes still one of the rare turtles.
At Lombok we enter the sheltered waters of the southern part with its many small Islands.
Our anchorage for the night is a concealed Bay with a small fishing village and a pearl farm.
After another delicious dinner on board, we’ll have our sundowner with one more enchanting sunset that is typical for this bay.

Day 3:

We wake up the next morning in an immaculate bay, which might invite you to a hop in the warm and clean waters.

A colorful fleet of small outrigger canoes will return from their nightly fishing excursion and usually one of the older fishermen will stop by to offer his fresh catch of squids.

We will lift the hook at around 9 AM and sail up the coast of Lombok.

We pass over Senggigi and sail north to the Gili Islands, which are really beautiful and unique.

We will drop our anchor at Gili Air for a shore excursion on narrow paths with a hackney-cab. No motor vehicles are tolerated on the Island.

You can enjoy the white shimmering beaches or we can move around the top of the Island and snorkel at one of the most colorful reefs in this area of Indonesia.

From this mooring, the view over the Badung Strait with the Mount Agung in the background at sunset is absolutely impressive.

Day 4:

At the fourth Day we’ll lift the Anchor at around 08:00 to cross the "Lombok-Strait" over towards Bali.
We are sailing along the beautiful Gili-Isdlands direct to the holy Moiunt Agung on Bali.
At the afternoon we’ll drop the Anchor at the "Amuk Bay" close to Candi Dasa in East-Bali. There we can swim & snorkel at a wonderful Reef.
Later in the evening we’ll prepare our dinner and get ready for the last night on Board of "SUNDOWNER"!

Day 5:

Having an appetizing breakfast, we pull the anchor and return to Serangan Bay in South-Bali.
We'll try to avoid the strong current and sail very close to the beautiful coast of East-Bali towards South-Bali.
03:00 PM: after 4 days in paradise and probably one of the most glorious vacations of your lifetime.

Sailing "Sundowner" is available for longer-term 4 people - 10 dayss upon request.
Bali Cat is offering a crewed, fully self-contained sailing yacht for private use that is affordable for smaller groups. Special needs can also be catered for.

You and your group can decide where to go and when to go. The yacht is all yours! No set departure schedules, no fixed itineraries, which you have to adhere to and no stranger you have to share your holiday with!
You can take the helm yourself if you want, the Captain will be happy to teach you the ropes and some navigation too! Alternatively, you can just lounge, have a drink, read, sleep, snorkel, make a dive, isn’t life hard.............

This area enjoys an "all year summer - season" with daytime temperatures between 75 F - 95 F and rain is even in the wet-season rare, which provides ideal conditions for cruising.
The winds are usually between 5 to 15 Knots and are perfect for the "Bali-Cat 42" to spread the sails and cruise smoothly along the picturesque coasts.

Bali Cat Cruises are priced to suit small groups and families.
Your private charter yacht price includes everything: bed linen, bath towels, pillows and blankets; full galley equipment; fuel and water for cooking, drinking, and bathing; snorkels and masks for your use; snacks and meals as noted for particular packages.
Meals include plenty of snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, breakfast and lunches onboard, and a fruit and cheese platter for sunset or star gazing drinks. You are welcome to bring along your own alcoholic drinks too, but we offer the local beer & Wine for very reasonable prices!
At the time of booking, you have to transfer 30% of the total charter fee and the restpayment has to be done in cash when you step on board. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details.
Once the booking has been made, a booking confirmation will be e-mailed to you. Please contact us if you have not received a booking confirmation within 48 hours.
